PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS AT PEACHTREE NEUROSURGERY

Physician Assistants (PA) are mid-level health care professionals who assist in surgery and practice medicine with physician supervision. At Peachtree Neurosurgery, our PAs are trained at the Master's Degree level in accredited Physician Assistant Programs and have achieved certification by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants. They meet annual requirements for continuing medical education, and every six years are examined and recertified. They are licensed by the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners of Georgia.

Peachtree Neurosurgery PAs are closely involved in patient diagnosis and treatment planning. PAs may provide surgical assistance, pre and postoperative care in the office, and management of your care in the hospital. At times you may see the PA alone for your office visit, but your care is continually supervised by the surgeon.
