Carter Cooper, PA-C

Carter Cooper is a certified Physician Assistant (PA-C). Carter joined Peachtree Neurosurgery in 1998 and is the primary assistant to Dr. Steuer. Carter obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management with highest honors from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1978, a Master of Theology from the Dallas Theological Seminary in 1982, and a Master of Medical Science from Emory University in 1997.

Carter is a guest lecturer in the Neurology Series at Emory University and was recently named Teacher of the Year in the Physician Assistant Program. He prides himself on listening to patients express their needs to better understand treatment and the best course of recovery.
